Holding Their Paw to the End

Welcome Dog Lovers!  Today’s guest is a CHANGE-agent of magnitude for the animals of the world. I’m honored to have Dr. Andi Harper with us who is an internationally acclaimed animal communicator, certified animal chiropractor and facilitator.  With a global animal communication/facilitation business, Dr. Andi inspires her clients to create magic in their life and with their animals.

Dr. Andi, I’m not sure if anything else compares to saying goodbye to a loved one.  But when that time comes for our dogs, I think it’s even harder because most of the time WE are the ones who have to make the ultimate decision of when that time will be.  But you advise us to think ahead and be better prepared right?

I know that you are a fan of people empowering themselves to know their animals, including what they will and won't do at the end of life. What does that look like?

Will you spend every last dime?

Will you try every treatment out there?

Will you be present and allow your animal to choose when they would like to pass?

Will you ask your animal questions to get the energy of what they require?

Thinking back on those hard decisions I’ve had to make with my dogs, I think I waited too long and in hindsight might have selfishly prolonged the decision. Is that common?

How Do I Know When the Time Is Right for My Dog?

I’ve heard the advice of writing down the 5 favorite things that your dog loves to do (chasing a ball, greeting you at the door, following you around, eating, playing with other dogs, etc).  And if any of those activities are declining or difficult, they are telling us, without having to say it verbally, that they may be in the final steps of their journey. Do you agree with that?

If someone is going through an illness with their dog, are there places to turn for support?

Dr. Andi, where can everyone find out more information about you and your practice Animal Magic?
