Raw Feeding Overwhelm
Hi dog lovers! Welcome to another great show! Today’s guest, Lisa Ayoette (eye – it), is the owner & creator of Soul'y raw. Lisa started home preparing a raw diet for one very special bulldog with chronic food related illnesses and after seeing the success in her own dog, she quickly realized this was something all dogs and cats needed and from there Soul'y raw was born in 2009. Family owned and operated for over 10 years, Soul'y Raw now hand makes and processes over 60 products for both dogs and cats using the highest quality ingredients available on the market.
Lisa, why don’t we start with what were you feeding your little bulldog before you switched to raw.
Once you switched, what changes did you see?
Why did you start the company? Were there not any others offering the same quality products?
Isn’t it hard to figure out what and how much to feed to make sure their dog is getting all of the correct nutrients and in the right proportions? Like calcium and phosphorus that are so important.
How much muscle meat, organs and bone should be fed as part of a raw diet?
Is there a way to feed a complete and balanced raw diet on a budget?
Where to start and how to transition?
Why do you have single protein products?
Where do you source your meat from and why is that so important?
Can’t I just go to my local grocer and buy raw meat there?
When feeding raw, do we need to supplement?
How do you get recommended from vets?
Where to find recipes/formulations?
Lisa, where can everyone find out more information about you and Soul’y Raw?
