Welcome dog lovers.  I promise that we all are going to learn a lot today.  I am thrilled to have Denise Fleck on the show.  Denise is the Pet Safety Crusader™ having personally taught more than 20,000 humans to rescue Rover or help Fluffy feel better.  Her mission is to help YOU make a difference in the life of an animal through Pet First-Aid, Senior Pet Care and Disaster Preparedness trainings.  She has authored more than a dozen books on these topics, has been named "A Woman of Influence" by Pet Age Magazine, and is the honored President of the Board of Directors of the Grey Muzzle Organization.  Her current focus is teaching the next generation of animal caregivers.

And Denise is THE expert on this topic and wrote The Pet Safety Crusader's My Pet & Me Guide to Disaster PAWparedness that was published a few years ago.

Life happens and when a disaster strikes, many of us are not prepared to care for our dog.  Denise, what types of disasters should we plan ahead for?

What are some tips on how to be as ready as possible when disaster strikes?

What about knowing where your pet might hide when stressed or scared?

Do you prefer any calming remedies such as essential oils, CBD or rescue remedy?

And I would imagine that things would be easy if your dog knows basic obedience, that will help ensure that your dog stays safe?

Do you have any stories from people that benefited from having a plan in place?

What’s involved with your Disaster Preparedness trainings?

And you offer Disaster Planning for Professional Pet Sitters as well?

Denise, where can everyone find out more information about you?
