SmallBatch, Big Difference
Welcome back Dog Lovers! We have another awesome episode in store for you today! Today’s guest is Nicole Erickson with SmallBatch. It began with a passion for helping animals and grew into a pursuit of deeper level nutrition and independent pet industry education. As one of just eight members of the entire SmallBatch company, Nicole’s purpose is to teach pet parents about fresh food, a holistic mindset toward animal wellness, and how we are all interconnected on this planet. She believes that we are what we eat, and as consumers we can not only shift pet food industry standards, but change the landscape of food production for ourselves. Quality comes before quantity when we follow Mother Nature's lead in creating pristine ingredient raw foods.
Who is Small Batch Pets? Can you share with us the story of how the company came to be?
What makes your food and treats different from others on the market?
I know that you take pride in where your ingredients are sourced. Would you share a bit about that?
What’s your business model? Where can people find your products?
Why do you believe raw is the best way to feed?
What if someone was to mix your raw food with kibble? Is that better than not changing their food at all?
Where do you see the pet food industry going? Is it getting better and are more dog parents feeding fresh food?
What are you and your team working on now?
And any new products on the horizon?
Success stories?
Listen until the end when we’ll share how 3 lucky listeners can each win a SmallBatch prize pack!

The Wag Out Loud pawdcast is supported by listeners like you! I started the show as a passion project that would help all of us make well-informed decisions for our dogs’ health and well-being. After many amazing guests, intriguing topics and incredible feedback, I realized the WOL pawdcast is exactly what I wanted to do. I am mission-driven and work hard to produce the best possible show I can, and I trust that if you find value in my work and have the means, you will choose to contribute. It would not be possible to consistently produce a quality show without the listener support that I receive. Thanks to all of the dog lovers out there!
